Use a community-funded place
Someone contributed so that cost would never determine whose story gets remembered. If you need a funded place, you can use one privately. No explanation or proof is required.
How this works
Contributions are held as record credits. Each $1 becomes one funded place — a single person's $1 record. A small share of every payment covers the payment processor's fee; we don't add any margin.
Unused credits remain in the fund. Specific-person sponsorships are held for 30 days; if unused, they return to the shared fund. Reservations expire after 24 hours if not completed.
Funded records look identical to paid records. No badge, no leaderboard, no public identification of who was funded.
